If you are getting a loan on your refund, you will still need to provide us copies of your driver’s license and social security card. You can also ask questions and e-mail us online. Or you can be “old fashioned” like I am and pick up the telephone!
Please remember that the best retirement tool you have is to pay an additional amount on your home loan and work to get that debt lower.
Education credit phase out limitation on taxable income is higher this year, meaning more of you will benefit from "education credits".
We can promise you a safer return and more confidence with IRS. Please keep in mind that "tax planning" during the year saves you money and that we are open year round.
- Auto mileage for business use is increased to 50.5 cents for 2008.
- Please bring closing statements for purchase, sell, or refinance of home.
- Please keep a mileage log if business use of auto
- Please bring costs of stock if sold in 2007.
- Please bring cancelled checks for all estimated tax payments made for 2007.
- Keep in mind we are in the lowest capital gains tax rate set to expire 2009.
